The last weekend before Christmas I had some free time and I went downtown to do some photographing. I haven’t done that in ages and lately I’ve missed it. I wasn’t feeling 100% well–a starting cold was present, so my energy level wasn’t on top and my phototrip didn’t last that long.
What made me go out was the thick fog that lay like a carpet over Oslo. Normally I stand on my balcony (on the 5th floor) and look over Oslo and the fjord. I got great view over the city. That saturday I didn’t see anything. The fog had hidden all the buildings and the fjord.
I love photographing when it’s foggy outside. It adds something to the photographs. Here is what caught my eyes that day.
I think fog adds a bit of mystery. I love it :)
I totally agree with you! Thank you for your comment. :)
Nice pictures! Looks so peaceful, like the city is sleeping and only that one bird is up.
A little late, but thank you for your comment :-) Indeed, it looks peaceful.
Wow, that’s amazing :) I have been to Oslo just two months ago and visited places u photographed in the fog ;)
Cool. I visited your blog and saw lots of photos from Oslo–nice. :) I hope you had a great time here.
