Today I’ve done my first crafting of 2011. I was a little bit fed up by the end of 2010 because of all the Christmas cards I made and all the cards I made as for two Christmas gifts. I gave away 13 cards in total and I made almost 50 Christmas cards!
Recently I’ve bought a few new things for my crafting; two new easter rubber stamps, a lot of green paper flowers, colorful half pearls and some paper cut outs. I really wanted to test it out and today was a perfect day to do so. It’s what sunday’s for!.
I’m fan of owls, so it will be fun to use those in some sort of card. But it was the tree that interested me the most today. Such a beautiful tree, with great colors. Mothers day is celebrated the 2nd sunday in Februar here in Norway. This year it’s on the 13th of february. I figured out I make that card.
My two next cards will be two birthday cards; one for my sister and one for a friend.
I’m looking at all my stuff at the dining table, I got a lot! Still I want more. Always. The green flowers I got, they have them in purple and blue too. I want blue as well! And I want more cut-outs, like the tree/owl set. It’s pretty and easy to use. In addition to all the cut outs, paper flowers and such, I need some more things to store all the crafting things I got. And I need to organize it better. Now I find things a bit messy. Im not sure how to best organize things though. Well, one thing I got a grip on is my rubber stamps. I got most of them all in my Tim Holtz stamp binder. The rest will soon be placed in a new one. I’m going to buy a new. Sigrund, a colleague of mine, showed me this online scrappingstore. Their prices are low, lower than I’m used to here in Norway. If I buy a Tim Holtz stamp binder, it will cost, with shipping included, almost half the price of what I would pay here! Whoa, is all I say! Too bad I have to pay custom duties for goods over 200 NOK.
More crafting stories will come in 2011. Hopefully some soon.
